Terms of Sale
The Honorable Path: Washington's Life. Effective October 23, 2026.
These terms explain what you get when you buy The Honorable Path: Washington's Life. We kept them short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
Who we are
The game is sold by M.L. Nowlin, trading as The Honorable Path ("we" or "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
What you are buying
When you buy the game, you get a license to download it and use it in your household, for your family. You are not buying the game itself or its copyright; those stay with us.
How you may use it
- Personal use. Install and play it on your family's own computers.
- Non-commercial. Please do not use it to run a business or charge others to play it.
- No resale or sharing. Please do not sell, rent, give away or post copies of the game or its download link.
Who buys and who plays
The game is made for children ages 6 to 12, but purchases are for adults. A parent or guardian buys the game, and the children in the family play it.
Payment
Orders are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for your order. That means the provider handles the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies, and sends your receipt. Prices are shown at checkout before you pay.
Getting the game
The game is delivered by download. After you pay, you will get a link to download it, usually by email. The game runs offline on your computer once it is installed.
Updates
We may release updates that fix problems or add things. Updates for the version you bought are free. We are not required to make updates, and a future, separate product may be sold on its own.
Refunds
If the game is not right for your family, you can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy.
No warranty
We work hard to make the game good and to fix problems. Still, the game is provided "as is," without any promise that it will be free of bugs or work on every computer, to the extent the law allows. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost time, that come from using the game. If we are ever responsible to you for anything, the most we will owe is the amount you paid for the game. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. The terms in place when you bought the game apply to that purchase.
